Why choose counselling?

Research shows that talking therapies have value for resolving common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and stress, resolving the effects of trauma and abuse, and negotiating life stages such as –

It’s your choice where the counselling journey will take you. The first thing to discuss is what you want to achieve from the process.

Counselling offers a time just for you, aside from the strains and pressures of life, where you can gain fresh perspective, a space to refresh and restore yourself, with an understanding companion alongside on your journey, for as long as you need it.

“If you’ve never had counselling before, I know it can feel like a big step. I’m very happy to answer any questions you may have about the process, and I can also offer a no-obligation ‘taster’ session to assist you in deciding whether to go ahead.
Call me to find out more or arrange a consultation.”

Working together

In a confidential space just for you, we can work things out at your own pace, whatever you are dealing with.

I have an office in Truro, Cornwall, as well as an online clinic.

My current work is with adults of all ages, and often with new parents, would-be parents and bereaved parents helping them to successfully cope with major life transitions with all their pressures.
